University of South Carolina
Day 14  ·  Student Story

"I had a job offer before graduation — here's how it happened."

Hi {{First Name}},

I want to introduce you to someone who was exactly where you are now — researching programs, weighing options, wondering if the investment would pay off.

Lauren Greenfield, HRSM '12
Vice President of Partnership Solutions  ·  Washington Commanders (NFL)
Former VP, Monumental Sports & Entertainment (Wizards, Capitals, Mystics)

Lauren arrived at USC with a passion for sport and a drive to work in professional leagues. What she found was something she hadn't expected: faculty who didn't just teach the business — they were the business. Through her time in the program, she built relationships with industry leaders who became the foundation of her career network.

After graduation, she moved directly to NHL headquarters in New York City. From there, a trajectory that took her to vice president roles at two major professional sports organizations — exactly the kind of outcomes our program is built to produce.

"Lauren is always quick to support HRSM in any way asked of her. Ever since her undergraduate days, she has been a leader in all that she does. Her willingness to support our current students is so valuable."

— Collin Crick, Assistant Dean for Enrollment Management & Professional Development, HRSM

She's one of more than 25,000 HRSM alumni working across the globe in sport, entertainment, hospitality, and beyond. Many return regularly to hire from our program — because they know exactly what our graduates bring.
